Pressed as public institutions in order to reduce costs, our results suggest that the improvement of access to high-quality programs from pre-school education in the early grades and efficient use of public funds. .. For the analysis, Reynolds and other researchers, the effectiveness of the Chicago Public Schools ‘ federally funded Child Parents Centers evaluated founded in 1967. Their work represents the first long-term economic analysis of a, large early education program. The researchers asked study participants and their parents, and analyzed education, employment, public assistance, criminal justice, drug abuse and child welfare records for the participants up to age 26 years. Our findings provide strong evidence quality programs persistently high quality early childhood programs can contribute to well-being for individuals and society, said Reynolds, director of the Chicago Longitudinal Study and co-director of the Human Capital Research Collaborative at the University of Minnesota.
